Dimo's is a great staple in Ann Arbor. Big tasty sandwiches for lunch and delicious donuts and breakfast sandwiches. My whole team at work loves when I bring in a box of Dimo's donuts. Our favorite is the apple fritters.

Food was tasty and service was great. The flow of the place seemed off. Just your ordinary sandwich diner menu. None of the sandwiches looked unique or caught my eye.

Walk in, review your order, get yelled at about what your order is. This place is legit. Food is great, made very well, donuts are the best around. Owner is a great guy. Will definitely be back. Can't find a more authentic experience than that

Rude service, especially if I didn’t know it was supposed to be “part of their charm”, will ruin a food experience for me fast. I had a garlic bagel with ham, egg and cheese and a chocolate donut. The bagel was moderately OK and the chocolate donut icing had a very weird taste. Skip their attitude and get significantly better food elsewhere…. Unless that’s your thing. The pricing was reasonable so that’s something positive.

This was a cute little spot! However, the service / ambiance threw me off from the get go. I walked in and what I assume is the owner is barking at the customers “what do you want, spit it out, okay, next!, what do you want? I GOT THE PHONE!” I wasn’t sure if he was joking or what, I assume joking but that was my very first impression walking in and it didn’t set a great tone for me. The food redeemed it tho. I got the #19 sandwich and it’s a HONKER! It’s huge. Plenty of food for 14$. Also tried the donuts and bagels. Everything was really solid. Overall not a great first impression walking in but would be back if in the area.
